My wife and I recently enjoyed a restful stay here, where the spacious rooms offered lovely garden views and cozy amenities, including a kettle for our morning tea-a quintessential touch for any British traveler! Each morning began with a hearty breakfast, fueling us for day trips to stunning nearby attractions like God's Window and the breathtaking Blyde River Canyon. The real highlight, however, was the warm hospitality from the owners; they even booked us a dinner reservation at a local eatery-an experience that felt like a warm invitation from friends rather than mere guests. With a kid-friendly playground on-site and most restaurants within walking distance, Rustique appeals to both couples seeking a romantic retreat and families desiring a tranquil escape. Though we missed the local Graskop Waffle Hut and the gorge lift during our visit, we left with plans to return, as this quaint spot truly encapsulates the spirit of adventure that the Panorama Route promises!
